Who I am

I'm a lady, I have been an antique  button-collector for a couple of decades. I use them to create Italian-Style Fashion Accessories. and

from some years I also utilize them to create Italian Style Fashion Accessories. 

Here I am represented by a child on a tree: it is a large mulberry planted lots of yars ago in my home's garden, when my family moved here; the child is the younger of my grandsons. This tells that I've already lived for a long time and, I can add, busying myself in several fields: my family has became a constellation of families not less loved, the work in the school, culture, hobbies, politics, the work in antiques, my home, the garden, travels, writing, arts….
The last stage of my path is handycraft, begun as hobby and also for desperation to find in my home a "bazar" of materials, knick-knacks, collections, that I didn't know how to use. Phylosophy called “never throw away anything” joined to a practice of traditional female-works learned in my childhood, with some fantasy, pushed me to create new things starting from old ones; that's because these things thrown away, broken, old conserve something good that can be used to create new ones with a new life.

So, beside to brooches and necklaces that you can see in this website, I extract from my cylinder scarfs, bags, dresses made with personal technique, chandeliers, collages, home decorations and every thing that comes in my hands suggests me.
